From June 2 to 4, the SNEC 15^th (2021) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition was held in Shanghai. Prof. Ding Jianning, Vice President of Jiangsu University, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and was presented the 15^th APVIA Award for Technological Achievement (for Individual).

“APVIA Awards”, launched by the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association and held every second year, aims to recognize organizations and individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the PV industry through achievements in the areas of capability development or innovation, with a further objective to promote the development and advancement of the solar PV industry in the Asia region.

This 15^th APVIA Award is initiated and organized by Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association, Chinese Renewable Energy Society, and Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association to further implement the new national energy security strategy of "four revolutions and one cooperation", and to realize the goals of "2030 Carbon Peak" and "2060 Carbon Neutrality".
